I never really thought about the literal translation of burrito before, but I most definitely have given thought after one translation of the palabra after reading a passage from la Santa Biblia, Marcos 11:4-6,
4. Fueron, encontraron un burrito afuera en la calle…5. Entonces algenos de los que estaban allí les preguntaron: ¿Qué hacen… el burrito?6. Ellos contestaron como Jesús les había dicho.I laughed for a while after this. But I remembered that burro means donkey, so it meant colt in this context. All I could think about was Chipotle.
